I failed at piano. Twice. And then I failed at flute. All before I turned 11. Early on, I was a musical failure.
So when I tell you that making music - or making anything - is for everybody, I'm speaking from experience.
Sometimes you need the right person to help you find your unique voice.
I’ve worked with people in music, painting, writing, spoken word, performance, metalworking, woodcutting, mosaics, felting, dance, video and more.
They’ve written songs, picked up instruments they’d abandoned and stood on stage. They’ve finished memoirs and gifted their creative work to friends. They've exhibited their paintings and released albums. They’ve stopped asking whether they’re allowed to create and started creating.
Most of all, my people are having fun making stuff again!

After an inauspicious early start, music and songwriting found me in high school and they never let go. I went on to study music at the New England Conservatory of Music and Bar Ilan University, and I’ve spent 30 years as a performing musician, releasing eight albums of original music.
Along the way, I’ve devoted my life to sharpening my skills as a singer, songwriter and performer, and to sharing what I’ve learned to help others express their own insights and stories.
I know intimately the fear and vulnerability that come with expressing yourself. It takes so much courage to put yourself out there. And I can tell you from experience: the fear is real, but so is the reward. You get to experience the joy of being fully, unapologetically yourself.
I'm with you every step of the way.
