What are you seeking in this one precious life?
I began writing music when I was 15, gripped by the potent alchemy of lyrics and music. Since then, I've been attempting to share the truth of my inner life through music. That feels worthwhile as many of us know the relief of recognizing a shared truth with anybody who dares to share it.
My husband, three kids and I moved to Israel from Denver, Colorado in 2019. October 7th was a catalyst for me to decide to use my musical abilities to strengthen Am Yisrael. I traded in trying to play on bigger and bigger stages to going to where I am called to bring music to the injured, suffering, displaced, or anybody in need of strength and healing.
I used to think the legacy I would leave behind is my music. As my vision widens, I see that music is only the instrument for the deepest work: connecting to God and serving our communities through that connection.
